I purchased this after I gave my old scale to my aunt. That scale, Digiweigh, was extremely accurate by 0.2 increments and was great for my weight loss journey. I decided to purchase this after reading all of the positive reviews on Amazon. Yes, it looks great, it’s easy to use (just step on) and the LCD light is a great feature. But. It is not that accurate. I’d weigh myself in the morning with clothes on and without clothes and still get the same weight. My old scale would pick up the difference. I agree with one of the other reviewers who said that the scale would give a different read-out after you hit a different weight. E.g., let’s say the scale reads 127.6. The next day, on my original scale (following my diet plan), the scale would usually read 127.4. On EatSmart’s scale, it would still read 127.6. Additionally, there is a three or four pound difference between my old scale and this one…so I’m not sure which is my correct weight. I think I will be returning this and purchasing my original scale; the only reason I didn’t is because the price of that scale has doubled.

Bottom line, I recommend this scale for anyone who weighs themselves every now and then but not to someone who weighs him/herself daily and is trying to lose weight. It is fairly accurate but not as accurate as it claims.

It takes out more hair than a traditional pin brush. My golden didn’t like it at first because he has sensitive skin. I realized there doesn’t need to be a lot of pressure exerted to extract the undercoat of his thick hair. I borrowed a neighbors’ brush (she has 2 English Mastiffs) before I purchased my own, and the furminator does appear to dull after much use. I am not sure how old her brush is but it is not sharp enough to remove the same amount of hair as a new one. Not sure how long of a shelf life this brush will have, but it’s great for now…

Wonderful book – very well written – great character development. You can visualize, feel, hear and smell the sounds of the circus.
