When you can get these cables cheap. I hate seeing people being duped into spending tons of $$$ for A/V cables.

I’ve had my iPod Touch for about 3 weeks, and use it as a PDA daily. I have found some apps for calendar & database that sync with my PC. Really like the WiFi connection, with no monthly fees. A camera would be nice, but not a deal-breaker. Even without using the entertainment features (well, maybe a few games…) I’ve found this very useful.

I have looked for a simple ebook reader that can allow me to purchase online without paying an extra subscription to a phone provider and would read pdf’s and ebooks so that I didn’t have to carry around a bulky collection of books. This is such a treat to use, no subscriptions, all books are very reasonable in price.

As for the unit, it is as light as the average small novel. I can read it anywhere there is light. It is soooo easy on the eyes and I can read it without glasses which I have to have on in order to read a normal paper novel. The electronic ink is awesome. The battery life is as good as they say in the promotions as well. I ususally find fault with electronic devices I buy and find their shortcomings within minutes or using them. Not so in this case. I am absolutely delighted to say I can find no faults at all.

I have shown it around the office and many others are as impressed as I am by the unit and it’s capabilities. Compared to the other units I looked at this is a clear winner for price, usability and functions. I can only suggest you do the sums and compare the unit and it will stand any test you put it through.

Water For Elephants follows Jacob Jankowski who is either 90 or 93, he can’t remember, as he reminisces about his days during the most trying time in his life. He was about to graduate from Cornell with his degree in veterinary medicine when he gets word that both of his parents have died. Not only that, but he finds out that because of the economy (during the great depression) his father’s veterinary business was so far under that their house is taken and the business is gone. He has nothing left but to take his final exam and somehow start a new life completely on his own. In the middle of his exam he breaks down, runs away and hops a train out of town… but it’s not just any train, it ends up being a circus train for the Benzini Bros circus and they don’t like stowaways. This begins a roller coaster ride that will last 3 1/2 months with a crash course in taking care of large animals, understanding business, befriending a grouchy midget and learning what love truly is.

Passion, hatred, murder and even a wild animal stampede add to the delight I found in this book. We see glimpses of the 93 yr old Jacob living in a nursing home feeling helpless followed by wonderful tales of his life on the circus train with Rosie, Walter and the lovely Marlena. I found it to be extremely well written and it flowed nicely always making you want to read on and see what will happen. Sara Gruen did a great job of switching back and forth between young and old Jacob and keeping the story just as interesting while in either time. I was just as attached to and invested in 93 yr old Jacob as I was in the young handsome veterinarian with morals and principles from Benzini Bros Circus of 1931.

I definitely recommend this book and will probably read it again once I make it through my summer TBR list.
Digital label summit brings

The purchase is in fact of a key code to download the softwear. Difficulty began when trying the two methods provided by vendor which seemed to have worked for two other persons providing previous reviews. But, after 3 hours of multiple tries, contact with the vendor and finally a call to Microsoft, it was determined there was somtheing wrong with the code provided. Recontacted vendor. Although the vendor did not have the degree of urgency I did, they ultimately also contacted Microsoft, then provided me with a new key code which worked on the first try, and I was done in 15 minutes. I believe the vendor is selling a good product at a fantastic price, but customer support is not a strong suit for what appears to be a growing company. Having done it this way, I am glad I did. But, not sure I would go this way again.
East Asian summit puts

The product was sold referencing a one year free e learning subscription. The access code received in my purchase was invalid. Nobody would help me. Everyone says talk to Amazon for a valid code. I wasted so much time trying to get help.
