The vacuum is a great deal for the price. I’ve been impressed with its performance. However, it would have been nice to receive the one advertised in the photo. As others have indicated, this model no longer comes with a headlight or full-bag indicator, and the hose for use with the attachments is very short.

I have really enjoyed the Nintendo Wii over the last year. While we go through stages on non-usage, I always seem to find my way back to it. This is a great system to play and enjoy with family and friends.

One of the greatest things about the Wii is that there is a very small learning curve. So not only can my Wife enjoy the Wii but so can my Mother! The Wii is a great system for casual gamers and will be a great system for years to come!

Do not waste your money buying this from BeachCamera. They will not send you the product as shown (they will send you the beanbag, but not the part that you actually attach to the GPS.)
I don’t know if this is the case every time, but in mine they conveniently did not include an invoice either, so when I attempted to resolve this with them I was told there was “nothing I could do.” They don’t have invoices on file for the products they’ve sold? Seems shady…
Looks like a good product, but I cannot tell until I purchase the rest of it from a different company.

Hi! I’m saving up for a Wii and I can’t wait. I hope it’ll be worth it to wait till’ August, since I get $20.00 a month. Right now I have a dollar from doing some stuff, but the first game I’m gonna get is We Cheer, I think. I’ve watched cool music videos and the game looks so fun! My favorite song in We Cheer 2 is Homecoming by Hey Monday. So cool, and I love the rythm! Can’t wait to get one!

After J.D. Salinger died, my 92-year-old mother expressed interest in reading The Catcher in the Rye, so I ordered a used copy of the book The Catcher in the Rye through Amazon.com and had it sent to her. She really enjoyed reading it and gave a review of it at her retirement home book club. She told them she loved the book. I asked for her comments for this book review, and she said:
“I was curious because I heard that after J.D. Salinger died the book is deemed a classic. I hadn’t read it because at one time it was banned. I learned a lot about Holden Caulfield–coming of age. I laughed a lot when reading great descriptions of characters. I could gloss over swear words. A fun book open- ended.”

I have two children ages 2.5 and 11 months. Until a few days ago, we used Pampers exclusively because I fell in love with the Pampers Swaddlers, Size 2-3 (14-22 Lbs), Economy Plus Pack, 152 Swaddlers that we received from the hospital after the birth of our first.

Needless to say, as many reviewers have noted, Pampers decided to change the liner a few months ago, a change that resulted in many leaks (a problem that I never had before the change). I always order at least a size larger for my kids (based on the recommended weight) so that was clearly not the issue.

So what did pampers change?

1. Basically with the “new” and supposedly “improved” liner, the liner portion that used to measure 17 inches for a size 5 Cruiser is now about 10 inches!!! Pampers basically removed the liner portion from the back of the diaper so that my girls started to leak from up the back. From my anecdotal experience (I didn’t measure the amounts of liquid but from what I saw) the “new” Cruiser holds less liquid as compared to the old one.

2. They also changed the old “wick” or “mesh” liner to one that has no holes (no mesh). I didn’t think that this made much of a difference. The main problem was the surface area of absorbent liner that comes with the diaper.

So I started to research. I researched and found a pad like thing that you insert in the diaper (called diaper Doublers), but some people said it wasn’t good and that they still had leaks.

A thought occurred to me: I would just try a different brand of diapers, as scary as that was for me after using Pampers for over 2 years.

So after extensive research into other brands (including store/generic brands like white cloud, kirkland (costco’s brand), and Luvs Premium Stretch Diapers, Size 4 (22-37 Lbs), 180 Diapers (another brand made by pampers, but which they also changed in 2009, resulting in the tabs breaking as many reviewers noted), I decided on Huggies Supreme Little Movers Diapers, Step 4 (Pack of 100).

After seeing the incredible reviews on amazon, I couldn’t wait to get a scale that would actually give me an accurate read! Well, sadly, this is another scale that did not. I still use it to weigh in each week, but I don’t fully trust it. It gives me different readings when I stop on it multiple times. I’m tired of buying scales and wasting the money, so I’m going to stick to this one. However, mine does not work as well as all the five star reviews on here. :[

I’m an adult learner–a newbie. And still working on how to hold a fiddle and bow. Some months ago, I bought a fiddle that lists for $1,500 and a bow, that appraised for $300. After some near-misses with doorways, I decided that I should use a cheaper bow until I better learned how to manage it. I purchased this one because it’s CHEAP! Is 8-sided like my “real” bow — and the reviews were positive.

It arrived very promptly — in a very battered box, that had taken some serious dents. “Uh-oh! Hope they packed it well.” Opening it, I found that the bow was in a plastic sheath, taped to a sturdy wooden rod, and enveloped in several turns of bubble wrap. It had come through, just fine!

Unwrapping it, I was alarmed because it seemed to have a much more pronounced arch than my Bow #1. (Was it warped?) But no, everything lined up fine, actually. Looking it over, too, it was almost a replica of my fancier bow . . . the mother-of-pearl in the frog is a straight white, versus the pretty blue/greens in the other. Also, I could see that the wood was of a lighter weight.

Then I put on the rosin and played. the tone was also “thinner” and lighter/quieter than with the more expensive bow. (Which, as a beginning violinist with neighbors on the other side of the wall, I consider a plus.) The sound is . . . pretty. Gee.

Are these things hot? Should I “stock up while supplies last?” Incredible value. I don’t know when I’ve been so happy with a purchase. A big thanks!

What you take from this book depends mostly on the type of person you are.

If you spend your life shaking your head at what others around you are doing “wrong”, while internally applauding your own goodness…if you subscribe to narrow-minded views which you call “the Word of God” but which really serve to spread hate and fear against things you don’t understand or which really aren’t any of your business in the first place…if you’ve spent your life denying yourself the joy which could have been yours in favor of doing what you were taught was “right”…if you have ignored the fact that it has been proven and recorded in history that the Bible was originally composed of much more than we know today, but due to man’s corruption (and fear of loss of power over those they ruled) was edited according to man’s agenda…Yeah, you hate this book because you feel as though you’ve been insulted. You will fixate on the fact that it states that there is no heaven or hell, no devil, no damnation. No vengeful, wrathful God to punish those wrongdoers around you. That everything you hung your hopes on isn’t real. After all, this is the God you’ve lived your life thinking you knew, and you’re probably afraid to think beyond that. That’s a shame, because you’re missing the point entirely.

Meanwhile, if you want to live a life of love, joy and peace…if you already believed prior to reading this that there must be more to life than what you see around you with your human eyes…if you already believed that we are all one, and that we are all a part of God, and that we are all meant for more than what we have been taught we are worth, that we are NOT naturally sinful or shameful, that we are all gifted with God’s love regardless of what we do, that we are perfect creations which make bad choices…you’ll love this book as I do, and you’ll refer back to it frequently as I do in order to reinforce the ideas and make them a part of your heart.
