What people think about Sea
Ok so I have heard all the hype on this book so I bought the first one. I opened the book and read. this book is so easy to read and you get caught up in what is going on. You keep waiting for some big action but it never seems to happen. inspite of that the book was good. Good enough that my husband had to pick it up and read it. I have bought all the rest of the books and yes we have read all of them. We have looked forward to each book. The books are worth reading an you will be amazed at how fast the time will fly. Perfect to get a young person intrested in reading.

Is The No North Sea suck?
From the moment I read about little Mae Mobley, I knew I was going to love this book. Her name is so Southern…and so bygone era Southern. This story took place when I was on the cusp of adolescence and brought back many memories of the hot, sweltering South in the days before air conditioning and desegregation.
Eugenia Phelan (a.k.a. Miss Skeeter) has recently graduated from college and is now living back home with her parents on their cotton farm in Jackson, Mississippi. Shortly after her return, Miss Skeeter awakens to the unfairness and inequality of the people around her. There are Miss Leefolt and Miss Hilly who expect their “help” to cook their meals, clean their homes, and raise their children, and yet they can’t see the irony of not even allowing their maids use the bathrooms they clean. Minnie, Abilene, and the other maids are banished to the garage when heeding the call of nature.
As Miss Skeeter begins to see the injustices of the era, she decides that there is a part she can play to bring these wrongs to light. She can write a book about the help on whom all of her friends rely so heavily and yet treat so dismissively. Right away she encounters obstacles because the maids are all afraid of repercussions. This is the dawn of the Civil Rights movement, not the middle of it. Furthermore, although there are marches and speeches taking place all over the South, the white residents of Jackson seem not to be aware of the brewing changes.
Eugenia fiercely believes in the need for the book, and she eventually convinces the help to tell their stories. It takes courage on everyone’s part. Eugenia loses her friends and fiancĂ©, and the various maids risk even more: their livelihood and their very lives.

Excellent card for still image capture, but HD 1080 video capture is choppie and unacceptable – the write speed is not fast enough (6 mb/sec). I’ll save this card for stills, but have ordered a 30mb/sec class 10 card for video

Information about Doo Sea Aquanaut Seascooter
I’ve read the 5 books of this series and cannot wait for the 6th! This author has a wonderful imagination and sense of humor! The earth-eating, flatulent Mulch Diggums is my favorite character! I wonder who’ll be cast to play his part in the movie? hmmm

Well to start off this was the 1st real X-mas present I got for and adult EVER. She saw my 1st gen 16GB touch and liked it. When I upgraded to the 3rd gen 64GB she wanted my old one. Too bad I sold it to pay for the new one. But I knew what to get for her this X-mas. I got her the 8GB I thought they were all the same. I was wrong. They cut out a lot of the good stuff. She was happy with it but I wanted her to have all the features I did. So I told her to send it back and I had this model sent instead. This model is for the music lover that more than likely won’t utilize all the features on it but, they might want to try different apps every now and then. So the extra memory space won’t hurt. Mainly because they are not trying to put movies, videos, or anything that takes up a lot of memory. That’s why I got her the 8GB (not because I was being cheap). Had I read more I would have known the difference. I know more than likely she won’t use for any thing but music and a few podcasts.
The fact that you can connect to Skype if you have a wifi connection, and talk like it is a phone as if you were at you PC is a great addition. You can record voice notes and memos or even set your own voice to your alarm. I know she enjoys the gym a lot so it really comes in handy. She can listen to her own music while she doing her workout or any other time. She can also play her iPod in the car, if you are not fans of radio like us it a plus. Also you don’t have to stop what you’re doing or get distracted to change a CD, which is reason enough if you ask me. The GPS system is helpful but almost all phones come with that now, but it is there if you need it. You can still surf the net, check emails, stocks (I guess), and go to the iTunes store for upgrades music and more.
It has all the features as the first 2 models in addition to the new feature. We both agree the built-in speakers are one of the best features to they had on the 2nd and 3rd gen. It was my main reason for the upgrad
