I got my Wii for Christmas, and it’s awesome!

However, when you start trying to get stuff for it, you think you have it all and then you find out you need more stuff.

For instance, you can play Gamecube games on a Wii console, but no one ever says you need a Gamecube memory card to play them as well.

Or, Wii fit, which is a steal at $19.99, but requires a $96.00 balance board to play.

Or, you don’t have a wireless router, or wireless service, and the Wii only has Wi-Fi capability unless you know that there is an adapter that can make it able to be physically wired to the internet. Which you will never find out about that unless you think of it. Then when you do think of it, there is a question of the type of Ethernet cable you need and how long the cable needs to be. (Which the cable type is category 5.)

Basically, I love my Wii system, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but if you’re going to buy one, realize that it’s not just a console and couple games you’re buying. You have to buy a lot more than you think. There’s additional wii-motes, nunchucks, boards, plugs, adapters, and lots more that you may not think you need, but are vital to the running of the gaming programs on the Wii.

So to people new to the Wii gaming system, be sure to do your research and find out whether or not you are willing to make the various and costly investments.

Twilight to me, was a horrible book. I’m actually shocked by how many ppl like the books. People talk about how sweet the relationship is between Bella and Edward and I’m just in awe thinking “What relationship”. Their union is founded on superficial terms only. Bella fell in love with Edward’s looks within a week of meeting him, she wanted him. It had nothing to do with her personality, which is almost non-existent as is his. I’ve never read a book when the main character telling the story was so dull. She blabs on and on about how she missed Phoenix and blah, blah, blah, but she doesn’t let you know why. Did she have any friends in Phoenix, what kind of things did she like to do in Phoenix? do any of her old friends contact her in Forks? Did she ever have a boyfriend and a boy she liked before? She such a boring character, I feel sorry for anyone who can identify with her. (Please, socialize more.) These two, when they got together, the only real info Bella could tell Edward about herself was how clumsy she was as if that’s an endearing trait.

I swear, I couldn’t even get through the book, I had to stop reading it because it was filled with so much fluff and mary sueism. Why does everyone in town fawn over Bella, It’s not like she’s the nicest person you could ever meet. It’s not like she’s approachable or outgoing? And she comes off as snobbish as if she’s only humoring the small town folk when she does converse with them and she makes sure she’s an outsider by eluding their company whenever she can. I mean, damn, what is so great about this series with it’s repetative, non-cohesive writing. The book reads like a 12 year old’s boring diary. So much so, I felt like I was in a time loop, rolling around and around in this story that really wasn’t going anywhere. And the little action that I did make it through was based solely off of Bella’s stupidity, like wanting to be alone in a strange city and needing to be saved by Edward. I could have done without that dumb

I bought this scale when my old-time bathroom scale finally bit the dust! I wanted a simple to use, easy to read, reasonably accurate bathroom scale that is affordable. After reading the all the positive/negative reviews on a number of different scales, I decided to go with the EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale. I am very glad I did. I find the scale easy to turn on with simple tap of the heel a bit below the display. It is easy to read and accurate to a tenth of a pound. It is consistent – if you weigh yourself several times in one hour you will get the same number. The display is extra large and backlit making it very easy to read. As a bonus, it is a very sleek looking scale. I recommend it highly and am looking forward to using to for years to come.

HDMI cables are built to a certain standard otherwise they are not HDMI cables, simple. They carry digtal information so they either work 100% or they do not. This cable works great and it was inexpensive, recommended.

You have to love Microsoft. They have totally changed their suite of Office products, which means if you want to be in the game, you buy the new software. Thank you Microsoft. It’s always fun to “hunt” for the “undo” button.
