the touch came rapidly and just as described. the only thing i wonder about it is that i can’t simply add music to the ipod from any computer without deleting all of it’s contents before doing so. i am just confused by it because every ipod i know of or have used has been capable of instantly adding music to it without having to sync and erase what’s already on it. i may just be out of the loop but it doesn’t take away from the ipod itself. it’s very reliable and works great.

This book is soooo misleading. It is not the voice of God nor does it come from the word of God. If someone truly seeks advice and more understanding, he/she should get a Student Bible or an “Understanding the Bible” type of book from a Christian store. This book makes me want to vomit; knowing how many people are reading and believing the LIES that are COMPLETELY THROUGHOUT this book!

Honest questions have followed humanity throughout the ages and religions have attempted to give good workable answers to them in order to satisfy man’s need for satisfaction when dealing with the kunundrums of life. Why do good people suffer? What if a person feels they are gay? What about sleeping with your “boyfriend” whom you know is your soul-mate?…and more. These are some of the questions that need to be addressed strongly, head on, and with a certain intellectual brutality. This book, unfortunately, simply spins out answers that could be construed as the result of the advent of the late sixties early seventies. The basic premise for such thinking is that truth is relative which means that ultimately there are no absolutes, which means truth is true for you and not necessarily for me. As long as we both don’t bother each other, it’s all good. Unfortunately, that is not the definition of truth, as a matter of fact, relativism in itself is an absolute statement thus negating it’s basic theory and premise. This book is downright dangerous because it will influence young minds to think incorrectly. All people would love to know God when it boils down to it. The question, of course, is “who is He” or even better “what is He”. This book does nothing to really address that either. Avoid this book if you want to avoid adding to your religious confusion. Know this: This book is antitheical to the Bible. The Bible is very clear about every topic discussed in this book, and since the Bible does claim to be the one and only truth, we have a problem and a challenge: both can’t be true. So I ask you, reader, which one is telling the truth? Seek God, ask Him to tell you Who He is, ask the Lord Jesus (and don’t throw out this review just because I said His name…come on, let’s give everybody a voice otherwise you are just displaying your fear and prejudice)to reveal Himself to you, and watch your life truly change. Have had good luck with all 3 Casio watches I own; they last a long time and work well. My only gripe with this watch is that when using the time display, the day and date display at the top of the window is kinda small and difficult to read.

The face and overall size of the watch are a bit larger than normal, but that’s what I wanted. It does look a little off-balance because there are three metal side buttons that protrude, but the 4th one (at the 10 o’clock position) does not.

Update on 1/2010 – the battery died already. I think I’ve only owned this watch for 1 and 1/2 years. On all of the previous Casio watches I’ve owned the watch died before the battery. Maybe the watch broke? I’ll have to try a new battery and see if that fixes it. I have not abused this watch or submerged it so this failure is unexpected. For this reason, I’v downgraded my rating from 4 to 2 stars.

Update on 5/6/2010 replaced the battery, but no joy. Watch is broken. Very disapointed.
Casio Men s Illuminator

I had a Sony Reader which went kaput after juice spilt on it.

In July I decided to buy a Kindle 2 (at the time it was the latest Kindle 3 was not released). It took a little getting used to. It was a little heavier than my Sony and the Next Page buttons aren’t in the best location for my hands and how I hold it when reading in bed. (My Sony had touch screen and the next page buttons were lower which was more comfortable for me). Having said that, I love the 3G service on my Kindle. I always have a book (or books) to read. With my Sony I had to wait until I had time to be at my computer to purchase and download books. The Collections Options is a must for locating books purchased.

It would be great if the screen was in colour. Although my 4 year old enjoys being read stories on the Kindle, I think he (and his 2 year old sister) would enjoy it more if the pictures were in colour.

Alas, my 4 year old son knocked it off a side table and part of the screen stopped responding.

Here comes the great service:
I emailed Amazon that same night and had a response by next morning. I followed the instructions and called (am outside of USA). Moses answered my call and took the necessary information, was most polite and advised me of the process and what to expect. Thank you Moses. I got his email confirming I will be sent a replacement and will get a separate email confirming this within 24 hours. Within hours I had said email. New Kindle 2 on the way free of charge unless my damagaed one is not returned to Amazon, in which case I will be charged for the new one – fair enough.

By the way even with insurance I am still waiting on settlement for my Sony Reader. Have had a few phone calls but no confirmation emails and when I call no one seems to know anything.

Thank you Amazon and thank you Moses.

I rated this 4 stars because of the weight and the comfort of turning pages (which is very subjective). If not this would be 5 stars.

What a terrific product to use with your portable Garmin GPS! In my car it stays firmly in place, doesn’t take up too much room and allows for complete windshield visability by sitting low on the dashboard. Another plus: No suction cup marks. I wish I had found it earlier for it makes so much sense.
