I was bored and tried to test the consistency of this scale. My weight seemed to vary by .2 lbs (which you would expect with a scale that has .2 lb accuracy). The difference when I added one of my (supposedly) 10 lb weights varied between 11.0 and 11.2. The difference when I added a different 10 lb weight varied between 10.0 and 10.2. The difference when I added both weights varied between 21.4 and 21.8 (would have expected between 21.0 and 21.4). Thus, it seems to be consistent within .4 lbs at this range. If I try to weigh them by themselves they weigh 10.6 lbs and together they weigh 21.6. Thus, even over the range of 10 lbs to 200 lbs, the consistency is within about 1/2 of a lb.

The thing I dislike the most is that it is made in China. I would have liked to have purchased a scale that was made in the US (or, somewhere other than China).

I should also note that I tried to purchase a Taylor scale and it was off by about 150 lbs. It is expected that there would be some bad scales, but it looked like most of the Taylor scales in the store had previously been returned.
