Thin Apple Cable FireWire lies

This is not the product you think it is. The picture and schematic for this item are both WRONG. Hoover has changed the product but left the model number the same. The new revised unit is not the same old beloved vacuum to which all the reviews prior to 2010 are referring. This version is a cheap imitation of the former. This “revised” model features:

- NO Headlight
- NO Bag Indicator
- NO hose coupling dust cover
- CHEAPER plastic
- CHEAPER carpet brush
- CHEAPER hose
- SHODDIER construction
- INCORRECT user manual

It still has the same amount of suction but because of the cheaper brush it doesn’t really get down into the carpet like the old one. It just glides on top over the carpet. The cheaper hose is a real problem, because if you ever suffer the misfortune of kinking the hose once you will never get it un-kinked again. The lack of headlight is not a big deal, but the picture shows it has one and some people may need this feature. The missing bag indicator means you have to keep stopping and checking the bag to see if it’s full. The plastic parts are made from a cheaper flimsy plastic. This makes the unit lightweight but it also means not everything fits together properly, for instance several of the attachments are misshapen. The old unit used to have a dust cover so when you used the hose it would not spew dust into the room (because the brush keeps turning). The “revised” model has no dust cover so you better get ready for a face full of dirt if you pull the hose out over a dusty area. The general construction of the unit is sub-par compared to the old version. In fact, the user manual is still from the old version, meaning the assembly instructions are incorrect for the revised version. You will have to figure out for yourself where to route the power cord on the rear of the chassis.

The vacuum does still work, has strong suction, and works well on carpet if you put it on the lowest height and really dig into the carpet. But you can probably find somethi

USB Translucent Apple Red test

To be absolutely honest, I have not owned a pedometer before other than inexpensive freebies. This time I was looking for a good one, and I did a lot of research before buying the Omron. It has more functions than most pedometers in this price range. It measures regular movement and aerobic movement separately which I like and resets itself every night at midnight. With a 7-day memory you can see your totals for a full week. I compared it to the quality strength training machines in the gym and the totals on distance and calories burned were very similar. I bought an extra strap because the strap that comes with the Omron has a plastic attachment, and I prefer metal. However, the strap I bought broke the first time I used it. So now I’m using the strap that comes with the Omron pedometer and have had no trouble with it. I would recommend this pedometer to my friends with confidence. I doubt you’ll find a better one at this price point or even up to $15-20 more.

Sick about Apple Enhanced Mushkin 2

I was always interested in Kindle. When it became available in Europe, I bought the Kindle with hopes of abundant and good priced books. However, the reality hit me only after I ordered.
1- You can only order this from Amazon.com. Not from Amazon.de, not from Amazon.co.uk. So you have to pay heaps of money for “import tax”. Why can’t a company like Amazon solve this? It is almost a hidden cost.
2- Books are generally more expensive than their paperback versions. Unless you like reading books written gazillion years ago. Why oh why? Isn’t wireless delivery cheaper than printing the book?
3- The titles in Europe are restricted “due to copyright reasons”. So if you want to read new bestsellers, even if you are willing to pay more than the paperback, no luck.
I hope the introduction of another decent competitor like Apple will shake things up.

I do not recommend you to buy this product. Especially of you are living in Europe.

Information about 16GB Apple iPhone 3GS

I really love this product. It works so much better (and cleaner) than the suction window mounts which always fell off while driving. Great price too (half of what it cost on Garmin’s web store).
