I bought this pedometer because it was top rated in Consumer Reports. I bought two, one for my wife, one for myself. I bought safety straps because in the Amazon reviews, people were complaining because they were losing the pedometers. Well my pedometers came with safety straps so now I have extra. No biggie since the 2 straps were less than $5 including shipping.
The pedometer seems to work very well and repeats accurately. You have to enter your step length to the nearest inch. I would like to be able to enter a more precise number than the nearest inch but maybe I am too picky here.
There is no on/off switch. The only way to turn it off is to take it off and lay it somewhere because when it is on you, it is counting every step you take. It resets automatically to zero each day and you can recall back 7 days. I would prefer a manual reset capability. The price is right so I would buy it again but if there was another one with the features this one lacks, I would buy that one.

He confirmed the mailing address and since it was correct, it was assumed that it was lost in transit. The seller is in the process of giving me a refund. He was very kind.

I wanted to give a positive review for this book amongst the recent negative ones.

When you read “Twilight” keep in mind it is a simple, light, young-adult read. It is not educational, it is not great literature that will be read in classrooms; It is just a nice, feel good story that sucks you in and distracts you for a while akin to plopping down on the couch and turning on cable TV after a long day.

With that said, I personally enjoyed the novel. I felt the plot was creative and the story sucked me in enough where I always wanted to see what came next. The relationship between Bella and Edward was touching and believable, and I felt emotionally invested in the story as the characters fell in love. The book made me feel high and happy for days after reading it.

I was a bit disappointed, as others have said, in the shallowness of the characters. In particular, I felt like a 100-year old vampire should have a lot more depth to him. I was hoping for more insight into Edward’s philosophy–how a character like Edward sees himself, the world and his relationships. But then again, the story was told from the point of view of a teenager and as a simple read, I imagined the author probably did not want to go into philosophy in the same way that Anne Rice did with her thought-provoking vampire novels.

I was hoping to see Bella really question herself and her relationship with Edward. And I desperately wanted to see a real suspenseful climax where Edward was overtaken by Bella in a moment of true weakness, and her life was seriously threatened by him–as a I felt the book forewarned many times but never followed through with.

All in all, I think the book served its purpose in entertainment. I did finish the series, but I found all the other books to be too lengthy, inconsistent and far-fetched for my taste. As a potential spoiler to anyone who may be clueless about what comes next.. I did not find the werewolfs to be a pleasing addition to the series. Once I read this

I have only read a couple 500 page books in my life and they took me over a month each. I read all four of the Twilight series in one week each! Amazing stories, gripping drama and dripping romance! Twilight is one of the best books for anyone who enjoys a lot of action and heart-breaking romance. Isabella Swan, nicknamed Bella, moves from her home to Pheonix, Arizona to live with her dad, Charlie (or Chief Swan) in Forks, Washington. Bella makes new friends, including Mike and Jessica. But then she meets an extremely handsome vampire, Edward Cullen, at her school, Forks High School. She gets to know Edward and his family, the Cullens. I would say the part with the most action is when she got chased by bad vampires, who have a desire to kill her. I would recommend this book to anyone ages 10 and above, but some of the words and sections may not be appropriate for lower ages because of the romance.

It does the job okay, and it paid for itself the first time I used it. My carpet was pretty dirty, and it looks substantially better after, but not almost new, as some reviewers have said. I have read that the key is to go SLOW. So slow, I went, but to my disappointment, I needed to refill the water quite often, which was annoying. The next time I use it, I plan to go over the carpet, let it dry completely, then go over it again the next day. I suspect that will produce better results. Three stars is because of the inconvenient frequent water changes for a room approx. 500 square feet.
