I was really surprised and happy when this arrived. I loved the easy to use no mess stamp pad for the baby’s prints. It came with extra sheets too! The sticker photo corners are nice and easy to use as well. There are a few things on teh inside pages I wish were there that I have seen in other books, but there is plenty of room for me toadd in what I want.

Great scale. Exactly as described. Very simple with large digital display. Just step on it, nothing else to program. Very attractive; looks like a more expensive scale. Would definately buy again. Braun 7050 778 Hand

I absolutely love this thing. I haven’t had any trouble with satellite acquisition or heart rate jumping up and down (which I’ve heard are common complaints). I’ve used it for running and biking so far, and switching between sports in the middle of a workout is so easy. I definitely recommend this to anyone who’s been on the fence about it.

There are parts of this book that seem to drag on and can make the center of the book go really slow, but it picks up in the end. Overall, I enjoyed the book, I just thought it could have been about half as many pages and still had the same outcome, as much of it felt pretty repetitive. I enjoyed the book well enough to continue on through the series. It is one of those nice rainy day books that can just take you to another place. In the end… a rather enjoyable read.
Shape and Syntax in

We have a part lab/part beagle with lab fur. The FURminator removes tons of the undercoat fur. She just sits there with half-closed eyes until we’re through. It was definitely worth the $30. We have much less hair in the house now.

I didn’t read “The Catcher in the Rye” until I was in my late twenties, after I had served in the military and completed a couple years of college, so I bring a different perspective to the novel than most readers, who are probably teenagers and have read it in high school. Suffice it to say that I didn’t experience the spiritual revelations, nor do I share the literary reverence, that the novel seems to inspire.

Everybody knows the story: After getting booted out of prep school for bad grades, Holden Caulfield, the teenage hero of the novel, ventures into the wilds of New York City during the Christmas holiday. Apparently in search of himself and a meaning for his life, everywhere he goes he finds fakes, frauds, and phonies. He has some kind of nervous breakdown and ends up in a rest home talking to an analyst — which is where he’s been all along while telling his story. Holden is a likeable character, a well-meaning dolt with a big heart, and some of his observations are hilarious; and although the plot gets somewhat tedious after awhile, the revelation at the end of the novel — that Holden is in a rest home — ties everything together in a simple, plausible conclusion.

A few years later, I tried to read “The Catcher in the Rye” again — and couldn’t get past Chapter 4. Why? It wasn’t the famous swearing that irritated me; the too-many instances of “goddam this” and “goddam that” are annoying enough, but they fit Holden’s character as perfectly as his red hunting hat. It wasn’t Holden’s sarcastic remarks and observations that annoyed me; teenagers talk like that, and Holden is, after all, a teenager. The problem is, after all those years, Holden was still a teenager. Some characters seem to grow and mature with you; and when you return to them again in later years, they seem to reflect your own maturity and experiences. But Holden was still what he was before: a whiny, annoying, irritating smart-ass. I shelved the book and haven’t opened it since.
Sendmail and Mail Systems

I have a lot of carpets in my house and was tired of spending money on an outside cleaner. This model is a nice update, they fixed my complaints about the old one while keeping the things I liked. I love the new spinning upholstery brush. Plus they give you a standard upholstery brush as back up, I’ll probably just use it on the old model to replace the broken one. And the system for holding the hose to the machine has been greatly improved. I also really like the clean surge feature my old one doesn’t have it and it makes a difference. Finally, the cord is longer than the one on the old one, on the old one, I had to attach an extention cord. So it cleans better than the old one and the old one did a decent job. I am very happy with my purchase and figure it will hold up well as the old one is still working fine except for the attachment to the hose. The hose itself is still ok and the rest still works fine. Nothing leaks and the five brushes still spin. I see that they are replaceable anyway should you wear them out. Anyway, great product, cleans great, Amazon has the best price on it, shipped quickly. With the kids, I have already had to use this several times… had an older model of this that I received as a gift 7 or 8 years ago. Since then we have had kids, and the old machine has taken a beating. It still works but the upholstery nozzle has broken (mine has the standard nozzle this one has but no second spinning nozzle like this one). Also the sprayer on the hose kept falling off. I determined to buy this second one for the house and keep the old one for the car.

three and a quarter by four and a half by one half inch thick, roughly. i’ve only had it a few days, but that first day i copied over approx. one hundred gigs from various sources and that took a good three hours. and the unit is perfect. exactly what i ordered it for. i like that it is sleek, slim, and light. i will take it with me via trips, to keep our records in case of fire or theft. our picts and files are intact. a great investment. the plug and play was perfect. i have xp home on my desktop and xp on my netbook. i didnt have to download anything, it was plug and play. like a flash/thumb drive. all i did was plug in the usb and everything happened automatically.

i feel a lot secured.

So this adapter works. At least the one I received worked anyways. I read a million reviews about how these things do or don’t work. How they are junk so forth. I don’t know what everyone else is expecting but I can’t imagine doing much more than data recovery with these things. If that’s what you are trying to do then you are in the right place. I had a malfunctioning WD external HD and needed to retrieve the content. I ripped the WD plastic casing off and tore the drive out of its chassis. Plugged it into the thingy-ma-bob and retrieved my data by USB. It’s crude, but it should work for you. Can’t speak to the durability or long-term performance because it was a one time deal for me.
