In Linux Snap a about
My previous pedometer was finicky — wear it on the waist (as opposed to a flat pocket edge)and it would only register occasional steps. So it was a great relief to get this one, and find that it actually registered my activity! I can attach to waistband, pocket, cargo pant pocket, etc., and it is just FINE. (My dietician claims she has a client who attaches it to her bra and gets accurate readings.) It additionally gives me distance, calories used, and whether any of it was sufficiently sustained to be considered aerobic. Useful information for someone trying to develop healthier habits!
*I accidentally left the pedometer clipped to a cargo pant pocket and it went through the washing machine. When it got pulled out, I took off the back, removed the battery, and let it sit to air dry overnight, and it has been working well since then.

Mad about Plate Street Sesame
After looking at scales in several nearby stores (Target,Walmart, etc.), and not finding what I considered to be an attractive one at a good price, I turned to Amazon. After reading the reviews I bought this one – and I’m very happy I did. The price was right, the shipping was fast (UPS, not USPS), and it worked perfectly right out of the box (four triple A batteries were included). Upon stepping on the scale, the numbers show up against a bright blue LED background – and there was no need to ‘bounce’ something off the scale first. Just step on, wait about one second, and read the numbers. Excellent!
I’m happy I bought the scale – and would highly recommend it to others. My only reservation is that it says I weigh 30 pounds more than I wish it did…but I’m working on that (which is why I bought it in the first place!).

13 Dementia and you
Francis Ford Coppola and Roger Corman are two names I would never have thought of putting together, but linked they are in the production of the highly enjoyable thriller Dementia 13. I was quite amazed to discover that Coppola got his start as an assistant to Corman, and this film, Coppola’s directorial debut (the first he acknowledges, anyway), was actually filmed on the same set of the contemporary Corman production of The Terror. This really is Coppola’s twenty thousand dollar baby, as he wrote as well as directed the film. I for one found it quite good. Although the killer is not that hard to identify, there were enough suspicions cast upon one or two other characters to keep me from putting all of my accusatory eggs in one basket before the climactic ending. There are also some twists and turns along the way that I didn’t really see coming, and I was forced to change my whole outlook midway through the drama. Dementia 13 is not really scary or gruesome, but it does succeed in producing something akin to chills on one or two occasions. The murder weapon of choice is an axe, but the wielder of that axe is in no way very proficient; he can only succeed by hacking away maniacally until such time as he actually makes contact with the victim’s body. He does have a natural talent for lifting a dead body by the hair and dragging it along behind him, though, which is always a plus on a mad killer’s resume.
At the heart of this story is the tragic death of a little girl named Kathleen. Each year on the anniversary of her death, the grieving mother and her sons reenact the funeral service, which culminates in the mother’s collapse. This particular year, two unwelcome guests reside in the family’s ancient Irish castle, the greedy wife of the eldest son (who is unable to be there for reasons made quite obvious at the beginning of the movie) and the fiancĂ© of another son. As individuals begin to mysteriously disappear from the castle grounds, almost everyone

Be Can It Done cool
This cable works just as well as any other cable. There are only two problems. First of all, the cable is unshielded which screws up the signal when near other power cords. I use my PS3 with this cable, and because the cable is close to the power cord, the signal gets interrupted which leads to lost audio and lag. Overall, i would not buy this cable again, because even though the price is so low, i would just get the same problems. It’s best to get a Category 2 certified HDMI cable, and even those aren’t too pricy, I am buying the MediaBridge one for $10.

3 FGX10 Sanford Davis happy
After reading other reviews and researching this product, I knew I had to get it. I have a pointer/spaniel mix and he has very thin fur, but sheds like a beast! He hates to be brushed by other brushes that I have purchased, so I had to find something new. He seems to absolutely love being brushed by the Furminator! Not only did he enjoy himself, but I enjoyed seeing the clumps of fur immediately start coming out in my hand, rather than all over my house! I would definitely recommend this product.

Today about CASIO Year Battery 10
Old enough to remember automobiles with mechanical brakes, a hole in the grill for a crank and backing up steep inclines so that the carburator would get gasoline into it. I have purchased a few bathroom scales in my time but this one is the fastest and easiest to read of any of them. Maybe too accurate might be my only complaint because now I can’t argue with my Doc that his scale reads excessively heavy. I thought it might be too big for our bathroom when I ordered it because of the specified dimensions, but it is really smaller than my old one. It’s size is right and the surface is sooooo very easy to keep clean. My old one with the ribbed nonskid surface took regular jaunts with me to the garage to be cleaned with an automobile body brush. I really like this scale. I was a little hesitant to purchase this at first because of the concerns about having to tap it to get it to come on. I was relieved to see the sticker on it that said, “no tapping necessary”. Very pleased. I may have to send it to the local University to take some political courses so it could learn to lie, it’s just too accurate and honest. I think I should weigh just a little bit less. It’s a DOOZY!

You know about Moby Skip Bath Hop
love this skip hop moby bath spout cover. slides easily onto faucet – adjustable “fin” secures and tightens cover to faucet – great feature. the “blowhole” allows for easy access to shower pull – this way we can leave the cover on the faucet and still have access to the pull. we will prob leave the cover on the faucet most of the time – but like that there is the handy “tail” hook to hang on towel rack when not in use. other pluses: mold and mildew-resistant, PVC-/phthalate-/BPA-free, dishwasher-safe. like that the material is a stiff rubber as opposed to hard plastic like many of the other covers currently on the market. decent price, looks great too – just a great product overall. would def recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a faucet cover.

I like Hot Power Coiled Sync
I was in need of a new iPod, and the Touch was everything I needed.

Think of Illustrated Sooners ?
This is a lot better than trying to use a windshield mount, but still. This thing slides all over the place on my dash. Its four “toes” curl up and result in the mount not staying in place. It’s big and hard to conceal – if I don’t want to remove the GPS from it every time I park, that means I have to tuck the whole thing as best I can under the seat and hope nobody sees it. It’s not terribly hard to remove from the GPS if you do it the proper way, but it’s very easy to do it another, improper way (removal of the ball from the “GPS holder”) which after a few times results in broken plastic strips on the “GPS holder” and the mount no longer mounting to the GPS holder (which I’ve now had to replace twice).
But, I don’t know of any other options – there might be some generic ones. And it’s a lot better than using the default windshield mount, which is awful and results in your GPS repeatedly dropping onto the ground or dash. I just can’t say that I like it.
